Jared Salomon

     Probably the most important thing to know about me is that I am a Christian. I am a recent Taylor University grad with a Professional Writing major, a writer, and a tennis player.

     I put my faith and trust in the gospel message of Jesus Christ, and that faith and trust influences everything I write. I journal and write stories, and I also enjoy editing (content editing, copyediting, and proofreading).

     Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to be an author. I have enjoyed writing for over a decade. I wrote several stories (one of them having multiple drafts) and a few series of books. I write fiction and nonfiction. I mostly write realistic fiction and fantasy for my stories, but I also write nonfiction and sports fiction.

     While writing stories is a hobby, my purpose is that I want to eventually bring others to God or closer to God through my writing.

     Some of my favorite books are the Bible, some other Christian books, most of Rick Riordan's mythology books, Harry Potter, a sci-fi series, The Lord of the Rings, and some other fantasy books.

     I have taken several Bible, English, reading, and literature classes, multiple creative writing classes, some communication courses, and some other writing classes. As a career, I would like to be a content editor, copyeditor, proofreader, or all three.
